UArctic Congress 2026

The UArctic Congress 2026 will take place from May 26 to 29 in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, bringing together leaders, academics, scientists, and Indigenous representatives to advance Arctic collaboration. Hosted by the University of the Faroe Islands, this biennial event focuses on key themes including sustainable economic development, oceans, climate change, biodiversity, and Indigenous communities. The Congress will also feature the Ocean Connectivity Conference, highlighting Sub Arctic and High Arctic connectivity as part of Denmark’s Arctic Council Chairship program.
